SMS sent to the number assigned to you or to a short number are listed in the panel and at the same time forwarded to your software via webhook. You can build flows such as joining, confirmation and information requests over SMS; messages starting with RET are automatically added to the blocklist.

Every inbound message is listed with sender number, recipient number, keyword and time.
Instant webhook
A new message is sent to your address as an HMAC-SHA256-signed sms.inbound event; if there is no response it is retried at intervals.
Pulling via API
If you don't use a webhook, pull in bulk everything after the last message you received with the inbound action.
Auto opt-out
A message starting with RET adds the sender number to the blocklist; no more bulk SMS goes to that person, and an sms.optout event reaches your system.
Keyword
The keyword of a message sent to a short number arrives as a separate field; you can separate by campaign or service.

About Inbound SMS
We determine together during the application which number or short number messages will arrive on and with which keyword.
When a message starting with RET arrives, the sender number is added to the blocklist; it is skipped automatically in bulk sends and no credit is deducted.
